What an embarrassing timeline

In 2009, Wollaston stated at her open primary selection that she was a leaver, this was important because within her constituency lies England’s biggest fishing fleet.

In 2010, Wollaston stood for election on a manifesto that pledged an EU referendum if the EU started to grab more British sovereignty........she was elected with a majority of 4,927.

In 2011, Wollaston voted in parliament for an EU referendum

In 2015, Wollaston stood for election on a manifesto that pledged ‘real change in our relationship with the EU’ and a referendum by the end of 2017.........she was elected with a majority of 18,385.

In 2015, Wollaston voted for an EU referendum

In 2016, Wollaston campaigned for ‘leave’, but changed her mind before the vote ‘because of the £350m for the NHS’ claim........which she said was untrue.

In 2017, Wollaston voted for ‘no deal’ and to enact A50.

In 2017, Wollaston stood on a Tory manifesto that pledged a clean break with the EU........and was elected with a majority of 13,477.....in a constituency that voted 54% ‘leave’.

In 2018, Wollaston started to campaign for a second referendum

In 2019, Wollaston joined another party - but didn’t have the guts to offer herself up for a by-election.

And, with this article...

... we prove the Independent is anything but.

https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/editorials/nigel-farage-brexit-party-european-elections-ukip-david-cameron-a8867821.html

Parliament and the media are not in touch with the people, our politicians are not listening (as I can testify from personal experience) so we are left with voting for single issue parties to make our point.

Underestimate it at your peril!!

How many times do I need to tell them

In 2016 I told them when I voted leave in the once in a lifetime referendum and my vote counted.

In 2017 I told them again when I held my nose and voted conservative for a strong and stable government, which worked out well.

I told them again when I joined the conservative party solely so I could help deselect my conservative MP, who jumped ship so she could avoid being ousted.

I told them again when despite my MP not listening to the people and standing as an independent I asked them to stand down and trigger a by-election so I could be represented. She has refused, ironic given she wants a losers referendum so we can make the right decision.

I will tell them again in the local elections by voting either independent, or none of the above as the main parties do not warrant my support.

I will tell them again in the EU elections by voting for the Brexit Party, purely as they are a single issue party and it makes a point.  They need 17.4 million votes to prove the point.

I will tell them again if they force another referendum, either by voting leave again, or if as I suspect the option is remain or remain by spoiling my vote.

I will spend the rest of my life telling them if we do not leave by voting for any fringe group which supports our leaving the EU.

At this point, Democracy does not exist in this country as my vote has not counted!

How is this a positive..

https://news.sky.com/story/brexit-theresa-may-wins-backing-for-delay-from-mps-and-the-eu-11689014

I mean, really!!

I will never give up..

Are they deluded?

Tories face a backlash in the local elections if they deliver this carcrash deal or have not left.  I will vote for any independent who stands rather than for a political party after how they have conducted themselves since 2016.

If we haven't left and  they stand candidates for the EU elections I will vote for any party who stands on a Brexit platform, no matter if they are hard left or hard right, to make a point.

And at the next election, since I live in a safe seat, where my MP stood down so she could avoid deselection to vote against Brexit, I will spoil my vote in preference to anyone who stands for remain.

It may take the rest of my life, but im determined to see up leave the EU before we are assimilated!

Reform the lords..

I have just listened to Lord Bilmoria suggest that since in the last three years more remainers have reached voting age and even more remainers have died that we need another referendum..

I suggest, I have half my life on this planet left and I will spend all of it advocating the abolition of the Lord's..

Brexit Stitchup

Parliament is debating 4 versions of remain on the first April 2019, surely this a a joke.

Two are designed to remain completely, the other two are essentially our Parliament debating the future relationship on behalf of the EU despite them having rejected the Withdrawal Agreement which is required before we move forward.

Staggering, I hope the EU have had enough and throw us out after the 12th April!!

Sunday 24 March 2019

Imagine this Brexit .

Following the referendum which conclusively was to leave.. You can argue however suits your agenda, but Government put the choice to the people, one person, one vote so more Democratic than any Election and more people voted than in any event in history.

Having voted leave, the government should have appointed a cross party commission, including all UK regions and business, tasked with producing a consensual plan to deliver Brexit before triggering Àrticle 50.  This would have allowed government to get on with running the country.

Once we had a consensus, and the country behind it, we should have triggered Article 50, and as a country resisted any attempt form the EU to dictate the procedure, importantly refusing to split the procedure as the divorce bill, withdrawal agreement and future relationship are by definition intrinsically linked!!

As a result, we would now be leaving on the 29th March 2019 with an agreement as to how we leave.

Compare that with our reality.. The EU have dictated the terms, our government has politicised the process, ensuring parliament is split, and we are not voting on the meaningful vote on the relationship, but only on agreeing the withdrawal agreement, with the future relationship still to be discussed.

What a failure, which is likely to result in a remain parliament suggesting the people need another say.  If this includes the government's poor negotiation or remain, then it is a remain option and Democracy officially dies.  I and many others will no longer have any faith in the Democratic process.

Bear witness and stand judged..

Yay for authority

Clearly the French Police have never watch Dr Who.. stairs reduce the threat of wheeled assailants.

Seriously, this says more about the abuse of the people and how government finds us an inconvenience than anything I have ever seen.

Clearly the Yellow Vests are right - No government would be better than this government!!

What an honour

To rate an article on Breitbart is quite an achievement..

Given we are about to leave without a deal..

How are politicians more concerned about a holiday they booked

Seriously, it was clear months ago that their incompetence was leading to a no deal no-one wants. No one in business with half a brain cell would have booked a holiday until after this was sorted.

Tuesday 29 January 2019

Posted for posterity..

Oh how we laugh..

So, Parliament voted against extending article 50.

So, Parliament voted for going back to the EU to renegotiate the backstop.

Both votes were 48/52%

How ironic, there are many that say 48/52% was not sufficient for the public to be taken seriously.

Sunday 27 January 2019

Really ..

Scare mongering.

So, if the result of leaving without a deal was going to be so bad we were heading for a 30 year recession, would it not have been sensible to tell us before we voted to leave, rather than six weeks before we crash out because our politicians are incompetent.

Not my fault!

Utility companies are ripping us off..

Currently I am being forced to watch BT adds where they proudly announce that for a limited period you can save money in a sale of their internet access..

I have a problem with this.  Rarely does a company actually loose money on a sale, and I am old enough the remember the invention of the internet.

When it took off, the suggestion was that access should be available for everyone and there was talk of a countrywide network.

Then companies realised they could monetize access and here we are.  A private company that because of it's name most people assume is nationalised is admitting it can afford to provide access to the internet for less.

And no-one is pulling them up on it!

Sunday 20 January 2019

So, this is the most important thing for Labour..

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/diane-abbott-question-time-fiona-bruce-bbc-video-footage-poll-labour-a8737161.html?amp#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From%20%251%24s

Abbott stood on a platform that was 1 leaver to 3 remainers, and still she was descriminated against.  No question it might have been because of her incompetence?

Confidence vote

So, the results are in..

This joke of a Parliament prefers Mrs May to screw up the negotiation with the EU than entrusting the capitulation to Mr Corbyn.

What a great way to waste 24 hours..

Can we do it every day until we leave by default?

Tuesday 15 January 2019

Where does Brexit go now

I feel so disenfranchised.

I voted leave. Before the vote my MP, Sarah Wolleston said she would vote leave, then changed her mind and voted remain.

Leave won, and given by nearly every measure possible won it was time to respect the electorate.

I took the time to email the government suggesting that the vote be respected by building support cross party and business, but the government decided to make it political..  How is that working out?

So, Dr 'I know best' Wolleston says I did not know what I was voting for.  Given I am 46 and wanted to vote out since I was 18 (voting labour when Blair offered a referendum) that is a lie, and she has confirmed that she will reject the flawed deal in support of a repeat of the referendum.

Just what the EU wanted all along.  Way to sell out your country.

Why should I vote again??
